1. Snow clearing services to begin with a 4" minimum snow depth and/or storm total, driveways will be cleared once per every 24 hour period. Services/Contracts begin on November 1st and will end April 30th.
2. Snow stakes for marking edges of driveway will be installed and removed by Olympic Heights Snow Removal (OHSR) and are the property of OHSR.
3. OHSR will not be responsible or held liable for any and all accidents on or around customers property not directly involving OHSR snow services equipment.
4. Landscaping and driveway asphalt is subjected to normal wear and tear from snow clearing equipment and methods and practices of snow clearing. Scraps and chain wear marks and or gouging of driveway asphalt are part of normal snow removal practices. Customers should take precautions with landscaping prior to winter. OHSR recommends to prune low branches on trees and shrubs from edges of driveway. OHSR will not be responsible for any and all Landscape damage and or any driveway damage due to normal winter clearing practices and or natural occurring winter weather.
5. Ice and driver packed snow on driveway is homeowners responsibility. OHSR will not be responsible for access to customers driveway at any giving time.
6. As weather and storms are unpredictable there is no set start times and or any guarantee on a set time to have your driveway cleared by.
7. OHSR will repair any and all damage to owners house caused by direct contact with our equipment to its previous condition.
8. Start Times: Plowing will commence when snow has accumulated to at least 4" on the pavement. Driveways will be cleared once per every 24 hour period. A second pass will be provided when OHSR deems necessary.
9. Clearing mailboxes is a courtesy that we will help to try and keep clear the best we can but this is the homeowners responsibility to keep mailboxes clear so that they are always visible.
10. Owners, Employees, guests, agree not to place any Obstacles in, or along side of, the driveway/roadway. If Obstacles are present, OHSR will not plow that portion of the driveway/roadway. Owners, tenants, guests, Employees, etc. should snow stake any altered portions of the roadway, which could become invisible to equipment operators during snowy conditions or overnight hours. Should snow removal equipment become disabled due to debris left on the premise (Photo taken and presented to owner as proof of incident). The contracting party signing below will be invoiced at the $200.00 per hour equipment rate for the time that repairs must be conducted to bring the equipment back into service. The total sum billed is not to exceed the cost of repairs and/or equipment rate.
11. Owners, Employees, guests, or any other present party will not hold OHSR responsible for any accidents which occur on, or around, The premises before, during or after snow removal which do not directly involve our equipment.
12. Snow removal includes snow that has naturally fallen during the storm. It does not include snow thrown from driveways, walkways, roofs, decks, vehicles into the roadway/parking lots/driveways after the operator has already cleared the street/parking lots/driveways.
13. DELAY: Contractor shall not be held responsible for delays that occur as the result of weather, acts of God or necessary equipment repairs.
14. If for any reason, contract is cancelled, OHSR will charge all previously rendered work at $200.00 per plow (not to exceed the amount of contract), refunding the unused balance of snow removal fee. You will also have up until Jan 31st to cancel and receive a prorated refund for service.
17. NOTE: OHSR carries liability insurance for any damages due to operator error.
18. OHSR reserves the right to refuse or cancel service to anyone at anytime.
All parties including customer and service provider shall have read and agree to terms of this service agreement. Upon payment received for service this becomes a binding service agreement with terms stated above.
